Flexi-Liner Product Launch

Selkirk is pleased to present Flexi-Liner Aluminum Flex Liners. This new product line offers a stronger, more durable construction that is substantially more flexible and compressible than other Aluminum Flex Liners.

EcoEnergy Rebate Program

A $300 rebate for wood stove replacements has been included in a residential energy efficiency program known as EcoEnergy. EcoEnergy has 3 primary goals for Canada:
- to become more energy-efficient;
- to put more clean energy on the grid —that's the renewable energy component;
- to develop cleaner technology to clean up our conventional power sources.

Industry Association Honors Selkirk

Selkirk has received recognition by the Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (HPBA) as one of its top exhibitors at the annual HPBExpo Trade Show. The 2007 HPBExpo will be held March 15-17 in Reno, Nevada. “Plans at this year’s HPBExpo in Reno are well underway to recognize your company…” states HPBA Chairman Jerry Scott.

Selkirk/WETT Training Bursary

WETT Inc. and Selkirk Canada Corporation are pleased to announce the creation of a training bursary. This bursary will cover the course fees for one individual per year seeking assistance with the cost of WETT certification.

Tim Valters President - Selkirk

I am pleased to announce Tim Valters has accepted the position of President of Selkirk, effective February 15, 2007. He will report directly to me. Tim received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. As a Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, he started his career with Asea Brown Boveri as a Product Development Engineer. Prior to joining Selkirk, he was employed with GSW Heating Products where he progressed through multiple levels of engineering, manufacturing, and corporate staff positions.

Selkirk Purchases Heat Fab Inc.

I am pleased to inform you that effective October 26, 2006, Selkirk has purchased the assets of Heat-fab Inc. located in Turners Falls, Massachusetts. Heat-fab is a market leader in AL29-4C venting systems for use in residential and commercial applications on high efficiency gas condensing appliances.
